Belgrade, December 1 - The leading domestic manufacturer of ceramic tiles, Keramika Kanjiza, donated 300 square meters of first-class tiles for the reconstruction of the “F” Department of the Clinic for Psychiatric Diseases "Dr Laza Lazarevic". After the neurology department of Valjevo hospital, this is yet another of many donations of the company to health institutions throughout Serbia.
"The tiles that you donated to the "F" Department of the Clinic have improved the comfort and quality of rooms for the treatment of our patients. About thirty people who have medical treatments and receive various forms of therapy in the Intensive Care Unit, treated for very serious mental disorders are visited everyday by relatives who noticed that conditions, in which our patients are now being treated, are far more appropriate. Thanks to your and other donations, 300 square meters of the Clinic is renovated, according to standards that meet not only construction but also profoundly humane and ethical conditions in which patients and employees will be staying. Whereas the department has not been reconstructed for years, your donation is an expression of your social responsibility, so on behalf of our patients and employees of the Clinic, let me express my deepest appreciation for this gesture," said Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic Dejanovic, Director of the Clinic for Psychiatric Diseases "Dr Laza Lazarevic".
Since the establishment of Keramika Kanjiza, the company has invested significant funds in donations intended for reconstructing and equipping health institutions in Serbia.
"As the leading domestic manufacturer, it’s our duty to take care of the community in which we operate and to improve conditions for the treatment of all citizens with our modest contribution. The Company Keramika Kanjiza will continue to do this in the future. We believe that only a little contribution from everyone can go a long way and I invite all big companies to follow our example,"said Jovana Nikcevic, PR manager of Keramika Kanjiza.
